Ribbed Poly V Belts

Ribbed poly v belts, also called as V-ribbed belts or Poly V-belts, produced in a mono-block design and are comprised of multiple V-shaped ribs. These V-shaped ribs run longitudinally along the inside of the belt, instead of across the belt like the teeth on a timing belt. This construction leads to good support for all cords in the reinforcement and therefore an even load distribution is achieved. We have sections PH, PJ, PK, PM, PL, PM available.

Description

Poly rib belt surface can be normal and rough top surface.

High transmission power, 30% higher power than the ordinary v belts given the same space occupation.
Low vibration, low heat generation and stable operation.
Highly flexible, noise free & smooth running
Temperature range: -25ºC to +110°C
High maximum belt speed up to 50m/s
Speed ratios over 1 : 30 are possible
Fiber reinforced ribs for excellent wear resistance and high modulus,
Low stretch tensile member for added strength and dependability, smooth running for minimal vibration at high speeds

Applications:
The smallest profile PH is used in miniature drives and the next larger PJ in household equipment drives. The profile PK is mainly used in automotive applications and also used in industrial applications, while the larger profiles PL and PM are used in industrial and agricultural applications
